The Underpants Radius

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER
THE UNDERPANTS RADIUS.

When watching an episode of How I Met Your Mother the other day, it struck me to see how familiar I felt towards a character. No, it wasn't Robin or Lily, or even a female character - it was ... Marshal. In this episode of HIMYM, Marshal is unemployed. To this I sympathized, as I am currently unemployed with the occasional interview and cover time job at a doctors surgery. In this episode, Marshal goes on many interviews and after an interview he would strip down to his underwear and slouch onto the couch - and stay in his underwear.

The underpants radius doesn't need that much explaining - but I will. The underpants radius shows the limit that you allow yourself to go outside your house as far as you can without feeling embarrassment or ashamed and still in your underwear

Urban dictionary definition has said:
The distance a man is able to comfortably travel (from his bed) without pants; the average radius being just the distance to the shower.
It is theorized that a man's underpants radius is inversely proportional to his confidence; that is, the farther a man travels from his bed in just his underwear, the less he believes in himself.
"At first we thought it was funny; at least Marshall didn't left the house without putting pants on. But his underpants radius just kept getting larger. He started getting the paper in his underwear and even going downstairs for a drink in his underwear...!"

Today, mine got to the front door and I opened it to a man to accept a delivery. Admittedly I was wearing a long Pajama top which had a humorous Elmo from Sesame Street, being a DJ and the words "DON'T STOP THE MUSIC" written around him. I laughed it off once I shut the door but there is only so much you can laugh at when you realise that it was pretty embarrassing. I then thought, it can't honestly be the worst he has had someone come to the door in. So, to this I feel that instead of "YOLO" as I hate that "saying", but its more "Oh well, stuff it" - So the new YOLO is OWSI. Wow.

Norway

NORWAY - Flam

Last week, my family and I traveled to the beautiful Norway. The most beautiful and tranquil place that we visited was Flam

This picture was taken from a train ride around Flam which took an hour to take us up to the Fjord and back again.

The "Kjosfossen Waterfall" is a free fall of 305 Feet drop and gave off a cold, refreshing mist after being on a hot, stuffy train next to a sweaty man and a window that didn't open.

If anyone plans to go traveling, I would recommend going for a couple of days - To either go on the railway, go kayaking in the beautiful rivers that lead towards the sea and even go to the oldest, wooden church which was built in 1150.

The World and I

Welcoming myself to the world after education and it is a scary place. It isn't mapped out for you, no one tells you what you want to do in life and that doesn't make it easy. The problem isn't not taking the opportunities we are given, its more that they are blocked off for us. At the moment it doesn't look like I'm getting any job opportunities as there is NONE that want teenagers that have NO experience because they can't get a job to get the experience.

Its swings and roundabouts.
